The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature and near to other stunning areas in Japan. It's just opposite to a serene lake that offers breathtaking views. The room is quite spacious and well-furnished, with a beautiful private bath. The staff service is courteous and attentive. Breakfast is well-presented and delicious, with a great variety of options.
The public onsen lacks charm and doesn't offer a relaxing experience compared to other onsens in the area.

The location was amazing and beautiful, at a short distance from Tateishi Park. Liked central heating, multi-channel TV, and a refrigerator in the room. The staff was incredibly attentive and outstandingly friendly and delivered EXCELLENT service.
The staff were rather noisy, didn't expect that coming.

I spent my New Year's Eve at a ryokan in the mountains, and it was quite an experience! The private bath in my room was amazing, and the view of the mountains made for a serene atmosphere. The meals were quite generous, and I got to taste some interesting new dishes.
The check-in process took quite a bit of time, and I felt like I was being rushed through it. the staff's English was less than fluent, so there was a bit of a language barrier.

We loved the breathtaking view of the lake from our window. The hotel had great facilities and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious with many different dishes to try. The staff were all friendly and helpful, some even spoke English.
Nothing bad to say.

Value for money, large room, private bath, spacious public bath, decent food, English menu.
Nothing not to like.

The view from our room was breathtaking, overlooking a serene lake - a truly peaceful escape from city life. The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The private onsen was a luxurious and relaxing feature, perfect after a busy day exploring the area. the hotel's free bike rental and tour bus made it easy to discover the local shrines and surrounding natural beauty.
The dinner options for children were limited and tended to be heavily fried. However, the breakfast spread more than made up for it with a variety of delicious options.
